The location was ideal-just a two-minute walk to vibrant bars and restaurants. My room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a fabulous shower. I loved the charming vintage lift that added character to the experience!

i had high hopes for this so-called 'superior' room, but only received one key card, which rendered me essentially trapped. not to mention the towels were anything but clean, very dissapointing. i woudl ve been happy with a room upgrade for my troubles, but it seems expectation and reality don’t align here. almost a good review, but just couldn’t.

Vibrant stay in the heart of Madrid

The location is unbeatable, right by Santa Ana Square. The room was clean and came with a lovely balcony perfect for people-watching.

However, the noise from nearby bars kept me awake many nights—definitely a lively area.

Room size felt cramped for three people with a full-size bed, and the broken toilet lid and shower hose were disappointing. The 'courtyard view' turned out to be just air conditioning units from neighboring buildings, which might mislead future guests.

The charming vintage lift added character to my stay.

I had hopes for a stylish stay but was disappointed. The 'courtyard view' was just an overlook of air conditioning units. Additionally, the noise from the lively bars made getting a good night's sleep nearly impossible.

Had a great time on our trip! The location is perfect for exploring local bars and restaurants like the Mercado de San Miguel and Plaza Mayor. The old-fashioned lift adds character, and the staff is super friendly. Enjoyed the clean rooms, too!

Only downside was the noise from the bars outside. it can get loud at night.

I had a great time enjoying the vibrant area with quick access to the stunning Parque del Retiro, just a short 15-minute stroll away, as well as being only about 700 meters from the bustling Puerta del Sol, where i kicked off my city explorations. the friendly staff and charming old-fashioned lift added character to my stay.

I loved the beautiful vintage lift and my spacious room with a courtyard view was super clean and comfy! Enjoying my morning coffee in the cozy lounge and unwinding on the lovely balcony made my stay even better.
